William IV joint-holder made in London 1831

An unusual William IV joint holder made in one peice with the two spikes crossing over at the top to form a loop handle. It is 8.25" (21cm) long, weighing 8.5oz (264g), hallmarked London 1831, maker's mark indestinct.
