A fine patination spoon with good bowl this spoon was made in Plymouth (or possibly Exeter). It is struck with the makers mark for Thomas Furlong and has original pricked initials “E T” over “M T” over “1698” to the back of the stem; an interesting date as Thomas Furlong moved from Plymouth to Exeter in September of that year. It is 7.75 inches long and weighs 1 ounce 4 pennyweights (37 grams).
