Trefid Spoon, Exeter Circa 1692, John Avery

Good colour spoon with rounded top to stem and fairly pronounced “ears”. This is a maker’s mark only example with the mark for John Avery struck three times on the back of the stem. It has the original initials “E C” over “T H” between “16” and “99” to the back of the bowl. It measures 7.3 inches long and weighs 1 ounce 1 pennyweight (33 Grams).
