Snuff Box Birmingham 1846 Edward Smith

An English Snuff Box, made in Birmingham in 1846 by Edward Smith; rectangular in form with scalloped sides and overall engine work decoration.  The center medallion on the lid engraved: "John Clapperton as a token of esteem 1846".  Measuring approx. 3.25" by 2" (8cm x 5cm) and weighing approx. 114grams (3.6oz).
