A pair of George II Second Course Dishes with Royal association, made in London in 1759 by Mordecai Fox; the scalloped and gadrooned borders surrounding a rim engraved with The Royal Arms. Very heavy, of excellent quality and rarely seen in this size. The backs with scratch weights and later initials EWD. Measuring approx. 12.5" (31.8cm) in diameter.
