A very unusually fully marked pipe tamper for London 1802 with the maker’s mark of RA, which is possibly Richard Andrews. The point is used to remove tobacco from the pipe and the two-part handle when attached the flat base is used to tap the tobacco into the pipe. It measures 8cm tall and weighs 9g.
