Mug London 1859 by Joseph Angell

A parcel-gilt Victorian mug measuring 4.25" (10.8cm) to rim. With Greek key decoration and beaded foot. Joseph Angell (junior), whose father Joseph retired in 1848, had manufacturing premises at Panton Street and retail premises at 10 Strand where he advertised a vast selection of goods, all of his own make, together with "second-hand and antique plate".
