Miniature Watering Can London 1875

Edward Stockwell continued his father's business in Soho making attractive smaller items of silver, winning a £25 prize from Goldsmiths' Company for a casket.

The watering can features a hinge to the side of the cover and is marked on the lid and on the inside of the gilt interior. It measures 2.5" (6.5cm) to top of handle.
