London 1795 Samuel Meriton II

An English Milk Jug made in London in 1795 by Samuel Meriton II; the helmet form body with molded and engraved rim on a short pedestal stem and oval plain foot.  Applied "C" shaped handle with molded edge.  Engraved device with monogram GHG.  Measuring approx. 5.1" (13cm) to top of handle.
