A Kitchen Nutmeg Grater made in London in 1811 by Joseph Ash. Of typical 'D' section with flat silver back engraved with crest of demi eagle, wings elevated, in the beak an annulet, fixed steel grater to front, gadroon edge border and hinged base. It measures 2.25" (5.6cm) wide and 4.25" (10.5cm) long.
