An Irish Milk Jug made in Dublin c.1750 by Ambrose Boxwell; helmet in form with overall rococco engraved flowers and scrolls. The waist is banded and the 3 legs have lions mask knees and paw feet. Scroll shaped handle and elongated spout. Gilt interior. Crested with later arms. Measuring approx. 4.3" (11cm) to the top of the handle.
