Bread Basket London 1802 W. Allen II

An English Cake Basket, made in London in 1802 by William Allen II; the circular body with incised vertical decoration and a half round hinged swing handle over an applied circular decorated foot. The whole with applied bead edge molding.  Measuring approx. 11 1/2" diameter and 4 1/2" (29cm x 11.4cm) high.
