Bowl, London 1878, William Fredrick Williams and Company

Silver gilt mounted enamel bowl and cover in Japanese taste, made in London 1878 by William Fredrick Williams and Company. It stands 14cm high.

This is made out of two probably Vienese enamel tea bowls made for the Turkish market which would have then been adapted with the silver gilt mounts and hinge into a covered bowl.
