A fine, heavy Benjamin Smith pear-shaped coffee pot made in 1825. It bears the crest of Bogle of Shettlestone, Co. Lanark, impaling Bogle, presumably signifying the marriage of two cousins, and stands on an original three-legged heater stand. The cast spout is particularly impressive.
