The pattern is and Old English type and the manufacturer Thomas Turner, founded in 1802, was one of the most important cutlery firms in Sheffield by the end of the 19th century, winning a Prize Medal at the Great Exhibition in 1851.
The teaspoons in this set were made by E. Viner, who took over the firm in 1932.
